LINCOLN — Robert Eual Hunton, age 95, a resident of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Fayetteville. He was born June 2, 1921, in Broken Arrow, Okla., the son of Robert A. and Elvira Elizabeth (Hudson) Hunton.

Eual served in the United States Army during World War II as a combat veteran of the 96th Infantry Division. He held the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG) and had the position of carrying the BAR.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 1/2 years Stella Faye Hunton; one great-grand-son Jackson Cox Lane; and nine brothers and sisters, including one twin sister Jewell.

Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Mayhue and husband, Jim of Lincoln, his son, Robert Wayne Hunton and wife, Kaye of Farmington; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery; there will be no graveside services.

LINCOLN - Stella Faye Hunton, 91, a resident of Lincoln, passed away January 12, 2015, at her home. She was born December 25, 1923, in Lincoln, the daughter of Cyrus Leonard and Annie Jane Rawls Cruikshank. Stella was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Burl Cruikshank, Jack Cruikshank and Bill Cruikshank and one sister Lucille Dameron.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Eual Hunton; one son Robert Wayne Hunton of Farmington; one daughter Margaret Mayhue also of Lincoln; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Michael Cox, Jackson Lane, Dustin Williams, Shawn Bailey, Nathan Ogle, and LW Cruikshank. Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, AR. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
