LEFORS, Dee - Dee Lefors met with a very serious and possibly fatal accident last Sunday morning while working with his mules. It is supposed that one of the mules kicked him in the forehead just above the left eye, producing fracture of the skull, which necessitated an operation. Drs. Beard, Rankin and Eubanks were called and a careful examination revealed the fact that they would have to trephine in order to raise the fragments of bone up off the brain, so Dr. Clegg of Siloam Springs was called and performed the operation, assisted by the above named doctors. Dee is doing as well as could be expected up to date. {The above item from the Gentry Journal-Advance} LATER: We were informed by Postmaster Lefors that the young man died Tuesday. Deceased was a son of B.P. Lefors and a nephew of our postmaster. He is well and favorably known and his sudden taking away is a terrible shock, not only to his relatives but also to his many friends throughout the county.
