Glindeen Simpson Cowan, 97 of Cave City went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 30, 2020. She was born on November 10, 1923 to Marvin and Anne (Hoggard) Simpson. She was a very devoted, kind and hard working lady. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jay Cowan; a sister, Birteen Kerr and a niece, Kathy Gaither.
Survivors include a sister, Beth Gaither of Batesville; a nephew, Keith Kerr (Shelley) of Springfield, Oregon; three nieces, Florena Weaver (Terry) of Senioa, Georgia; Mary Jane McSpadden and Annettea Shreve both of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Smithville Cemetery with Bro. John Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Honorary pallbearers will be her great nieces and nephews.
