Mrs. Sallie Elliott, 90, widow of Dr. F. B. Elliott and mother of Dr. John Q. Elliott of Blytheville, died yesterday at her home. Born in Texarkana, to Austin Albert Adams and Charlotte Amelia Johnson Adams, she had been a resident of Blytheville 55 years. She was a Presbyterian.
Besides her doctor son, she is survived by two other sons, Robert L. Elliott of Memphis and Ben Elliott of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; three daughters, Mrs. Sam L. Manatt of Corning, Mrs. J. R. Lewis of Caruthersville, and Mrs. Daniel E. Bergan Jr. of Memphis; two brothers, Bert Adams of Texarkana and John Quincy Adams of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Mary Kelly of Houston; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home chapel, Rev. James Billman officiating, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Boydston, Gilbert Mann, Andy Moses, Pruitt Fowler, Charles Smith, Perry Rothrock Jr., Charles Graham and Graham Partlow.
