Thomas Ladell Harman, 88, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Ozark. He was an accountant office manager for CC Davis Wholesale Grocery, a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, past member of Midland Heights Methodist Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a Navy veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; two daughters, Donna Stanley of Barling and Pam Robertson of Fort Smith; a son, Tom Harman of Fort Smith; a sister, Gene McSwain of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brant and Bob Harman, Adam and Philip Robertson and Donnie Stanley.
Geraldine
July 14, 1927 - August 19, 2020
Geraldine Varnell Harman, 93, of Barling, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
She was an LPN employed twenty years at St. Edwards/Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and was of the Methodist faith.
She was born July 14, 1927 in Watalula Community Ozark, Arkansas to E.Z. and Bonnie Baskin Dickerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas L. Harman, Sr.; a son, Thomas L. Harman, Jr.; a sister; Hazel Milton; two brothers, John and Edgar Dickerson; and a great grandchild, Daniel Cullen.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Harman of Barling and Pam Robertson and husband Wes of Fort Smith; a daughter in law, Debe Harman of Fort Smith; a brother, Harold Dickerson and wife Grace of Ozark; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Lamb, Harry A. Stanley, Jr, Brian and Danny Stanley, Pamela Carney, Alicia Cullen, Brant Harman, Adam and Philip Robertson, and Kristen Brown; and eighteen in a half great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Grandsons.
