Margaret Martha Melinda Jackson Reed was born January 5, 1872 at Holly Springs, Polk Co., AR and died April 13, 1959 in Mena, AR. Her name has also been spelled Margret. She married William Eppie Reed January 25, 1891 at Quito, Polk Co., AR. She had 6 girls and one boy. She always raised a big garden, canned, loved to grow flowers. She was an excellent seamstress, washed her clothes in a big black washpot, and cooked on a wood cookstove. Her parents were Andrew and Margaret Elizabeth Fried Jackson.
