Billy Baker Poole, 75, of Blytheville died Saturday, Sept. 11, in Blytheville.
A native of Mississippi County, he was a farmer, former member of the Armorel School Board, member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the Huffman Church of Christ.
He received the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge and Bronze Service Star due to combat action with the Army in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sarrells Poole; one son, Danny Poole of Collierville, Tenn.; two brothers, Gary Poole and John Poole, both of Fisk, Mo.; two sisters, Judy Barnes of Campbell, Mo. and Laura Jo Poole of Fisk, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Laura Poole of Starkville, Miss., and Dana Poole of Collierville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
