Mrs Amelia Rossie, 92, of Blytheville, died Wednesday at Baptist Hospital in Blytheville. Born in Aitneet, Labanon, she was self-employed and had lived in Blytheville 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, N.S. (Sam) Rossie.
Survivors include a daughter, Juliette Rossie of Blytheville; a brother, Tony Rossie of Baton Rouge, La; four sisters, Irene Birmingham of Brenen, Ga, Olga Hassenboehler of Lafitte, La, Margaret Koorie of New Orleans, La; and Helen Rossie of Atlanta, Ga; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 4 this afternoon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville, with Rev Joseph Pallo officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.
