Fort Mills, NC-Emma Gude Sharp, 77, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. A native of Derby, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Pete Etienne. She was a 1936 graduate of Derby High School.
She had resided in Blytheville, Ark., most of her life and was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She was a Roman Catholic and was more recently affiliated with the Lifespring Church in Charlotte.
Services were held at 10a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville. The Rev. Ernest Hardesty, a nephew, officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery where the Rev. Tommy Joe Carney assisted. Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville was in charge of arrangements, where a rosary service was held.
