Stephen L. Austin, 82, retired Pentecostal minister, died early today at Walls Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Caruthersville, MO, he had lived in this area all his life.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Full Gospel Church. Rev. Virgil D. Ragain will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Cobb Funeral Home in charge.

He leaves his wife, Cora Myrtle (Keith) Austin; two sons, William L. (Bill) Austin and Conley Fay Austin; one daughter, Seminole (Austin) Gordon; and one brother, William Thomas Austin: four grandchildren, James Lafayette (J.L.) Austin, Nathaniel Fay Austin, Stephen Joseph Austin and Larry Randall Austin; and one great-grandchild, James Nathan Austin.

He married Cora Myrtle Keith on June 17, 1903 in Lake Co, TN. He was the father of 10 children (only four lived to be adults).

He was the son of William Austin and Harriett Victoria (Miles) Austin.

Mrs. Cora Myrtle Austin, 78, of Blytheville, died yesterday in Chicago, Illinois.

A native of Newbern, Tennessee, she had been a resident here for about 40 years. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by two sons, Conley Fay Austin and William Larkin (Bill) Austin, and one daughter, Seminole Avon (Austin) Gordon; one brother, Larkin Keith, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Full Gospel Church with Rev. Virgil Ragain officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery; Cobb Funeral Home in charge.

She was the wife of Stephen Lafayette Austin. They married on June 17, 1903 in Lake Co, TN. She was the mother of 10 children (only four lived to be adults).

She was the daughter of Camillis Hogan Keith and Susie Samantha (Carroll) Keith.
