Naomi Jewel Ray, 85 of West Memphis, Arkansas died Thursday, April 25, 2013 peacefully at Methodist Central. Mrs. Ray was a loving mother & grandmother who touched many lives with her gentile and kind loving heart. Her children described her as a devoted mother with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny Ray and Jimmy Ray both of West Memphis, AR; daughters, Brenda Ray Capps of Marion, AR, Sharon Ray Wilbanks of West Memphis, AR, Kim Ray Riggs of Blytheville, AR and Becky Ray Coker of West Memphis, AR; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Ray; parents, James William Carson and Mamie Wells Carson; one grandson, Douglas Thurston and one son, Mason Bradley Ray.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Services will me Monday, April 29, 2013 starting at 10:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Arkansas.
