Obituary for Ernestine Louise Andrews
Ernestine “Tena” Louise Andrews, 90 of Walnut Ridge passed away November 9, 2020.
Born March 6, 1930 in Oak Grove Community; daughter of the late Charles Wilkerson and Christine Marie Lohr Melton. She was united in marriage to Jesse Fay Andrews on August 30, 1947. Teen worked in the fields and took care of her family and home. She was of the Missionary Baptist Faith and she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and making crafts.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse in 2007; six sisters; three brothers; four step-sisters; and one half-sister.
Survivors include her son, Danny (Sharon) Andrews of Walnut Ridge; one daughter, Anita (Bob) Brice of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Christine Suver of Paragould, Michelle (Jerry) Easton of Walnut Ridge, Lynn Brown of Imboden, Cheyenne (Brett) Winstead of Jonesboro, Danny (Amber) Andrews II of Walcott, and Sandy (Scott) Havens of Paragould; one half-brother, Jerry Melton of Jonesboro; twelve great grandchildren, Brianna Steele, Jeffrey Willfond, Jeri Moore, Jessica Easton, Courtney Ingram, Andrew Macon, Summer Macon, Payden Winstead, Gannon Winstead, Ethan Winstead, Abby Andrews and Drew Havens; seven great great grandchildren, Riley, Jazzmine, & Jacob Steele, Jayden Willfond, Kinley Gullett, Kendal and Kylar Ingram; and many other relatives and friends.
Family only graveside service will be Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2 P.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park with Bro. Derek Collins officiating.
