September 19, 1949 - November 8, 2020
Brenda Kay Stratton, 71 of Walnut Ridge, passed away November 8, 2020 in the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born September 19, 1949 in Trumann; daughter of the late Arthur E. and Jessie L. Farmer Johnson. Brenda was united in marriage to Dale Stratton on March 12, 1972. She was a housewife and loved to work with her flowers in the yard. She was a member of the United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harold C. and Michael G Johnson; three sisters, Lorena Jenson, Clara Thomson and Marjorie Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Dale of the home; two sons, Keith (Leslie) Stratton of Paragould and Kevin (Cecilia) Stratton of Phoenix, AZ; one granddaughter, Brenda Martina Stratton; one brother, Lonnie E Johnson of Springdale; and a sister, Pat Winton of Ft Smith; two nephews, Dereck Johnson of Platte City, MO and Brian Johnson of Springdale; two cousins, Tanner and Wyatt Johnson both of Platte City, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 2 P.M. till 3 P.M. in the United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. Interment of her cremains will take place at a later date, privately in the Cross Roads Cemetery in Portia.
