Alvie Parker, 91, of Blytheville
died Thursday, Dec. 9 at Baptist
Memorial Hospital in Blytheville
after a brief illness. Born in
Dorsey, Miss., she had lived in this
area since 1941. She was a
member of United Pentecostal Church in Blytheville. The widow of Troy Parker, she is preceded it
death by two sons, Gordon Parker
and Thomas Graden Parker and
one daughter Earline Marshall
Enderson.
Survivors include five daughters,
Florence Dozier, Ruth
Tounzen and Vivian Glover all of
Blytheville, Bertha Butz of Benbrook,
Texas and Veda Vassar of
Manila; one brother, Henry
Tomlin of Fulton, Miss.; 22
grandchildren 48 great-grandchildren
and 17 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday.
Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Cobb
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Lenard Glover and Rev. Kevin
Cook officiating. Burial will follow
in the Elmwood Cemetery in
Blytheville.
The family will receive visitors
from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec.
12 at Cobb Funeral Home.
