Betty Jean Rhine Johnson of Dolph, Arkansas
Betty Jean Rhine Johnson, daughter of the late Ferman Rhine and Leona Clubb Rhine, was born December 14, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life May 8, 2015 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 93 years, 4 months and 24 days. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Riley Johnson. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, homemaker, and friend. During her working years she was employed at Beemis Bag Company in Kansas City, Kansas and the glove factory in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Eunice Rhine of Dolph, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother: Clifford Jack Rhine and two sisters: Mildred Ruth Peacher and Shirley Stimach.
Graveside funeral service will be Monday, May 11 and 10:00 a.m. at Dolph Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
