When Ida Mae Bottorff was born on August 1, 1914, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, her father, Bartton, was 29, and her mother, Lillie, was 22. She married Henry Clay Bottorff on June 1, 1935, in Phillips, Arkansas. She died on November 21, 2006, in Poplar Grove, Arkansas, at the age of 92, and was buried in Walnut Corner, Arkansas.
