Barbara Ann Byrd, 65, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at her home.
Ms. Byrd was born June 6, 1950, in Texarkana. She was a substitute teacher and a Chozen founder, Minister of Music and Nursing Home Ministry member of Nash Full Gospel COGIC. She was preceded in death by one son, Micah Byrd.
Survivors include one son, Ethan Byrd of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Felicia Byrd of Texarkana; two brothers, James Woods of Tracy, Calif., and Ollie Ray Woods of Gilroy, Calif.; three sisters, Doris Green, Carolyn Woods and Brenda Montgomery of Texarkana; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Nash Full Gospel Church with Elder Calvin Nard and Jacquelyn Cannon officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
