Myrtle Marie Deaton Blair, 86, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Blair was born May 5, 1925 in Tuckerman, Arkansas to the late Sam Booker Deaton and the late Flora Hubbard Deaton. She was a member of Twin City Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Travis Gene Blair (Sandra) of Guy, Arkansas and Ronnie Blair (Tasha) of West Helena; two daughters, Linda Turner of West Helena and Judy Ballard (Chris) of Baxter Springs, Kansas; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Roy Deaton (Peggy), Joe Deaton and Mack Deaton (Brenda), all of West Helena.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kirby Blair; two brothers, Riley Deaton and Freemont Deaton; and a sister, Helen Burke.

Graveside services for Myrtle Blair will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Brother Bobby Baker will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers are the men of Twin City Church of Christ and Dr. Jim Pillow.
Memorials may be made to Twin City Church of Christ, 1615 Hwy 49, West Helena, Arkansas 72390.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571 .
