Quida Mae Carroll, 90, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on December 27, 2010 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Carroll was born August 18, 1920 in Fouke, AR. She was a homemaker, a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World, and Treasurer at Miller County Senior Adult Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond W. Carroll; sons, David Raymond Carroll and Daniel Davis Carroll.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty McElroy of Texarkana, AR; granddaughter, Jennifer McElroy of Texarkana, AR; grandson, Allen McElroy of Texarkana, AR; sister, Marjorie Youngblood of Texarkana, AR; sister-in-law, Wanda Carroll of Sulphur, LA; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Norman Melton and Rev. William V. Garner officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
