Funeral services for the Rev. James A. Fields, 73, who died Friday morning in Springdale, were conducted Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. C. L. Dixon assisted by the Rev. Burl Lloyd in Huntsville Street Assembly of God Church in Springdale. Burial was in Bluff cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Sherman Hinds, Henry Blair, Glenard Smith, Leslie Combs, John Fulfer and the Rev. John Campbell.

Mrs. Sarah Katherine Fields, 79, of Springdale died April 2 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1892 in Butterfield, Mo., the daughter of John and Loanne Cates Allred.

She is survived by five sons, Willis of Fayetteville, James of Wenatchee, Wash., Eugene and Wayne, both of Sunnyside, Wash., and Dale of Hope, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Russell of Sumner, Wash., Mrs. Sylvia Neu of Fayetteville; Mrs. LaWonda Fulfer of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Austin Wheeler of Springfield, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Nelson's Funeral Home.
