Hot Springs, AR

Mrs. Nina L. Moore Cyrus, age 96 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Redding, California, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at the National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born June 19, 1920 in Hamburg. Arkansas, to Thomas A. and Martha Ella Harrison Osborne.

Mrs. Cyrus was a retired Elementary Teacher and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James F. Moore, Sr. and Hubert E. Cyrus; a brother, Grover Osborne; and four sisters, Helen King, Annie Baird, Fanny Carroll Porter and Katherine Johnson Hurst. Survivors include a son, James F. Moore, Jr. and wife Dixie, of Redding, California; a daughter, Martha Moore Head and husband, Charles, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, in lieu of flowers.

A memorial service was held in Hot Springs, AR with a family graveside service in Flippin, AR. There will be a private gathering in Redding to remember what a precious Mother, Grandmother, and GG she was to the family that she left here.

Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
