A Funeral Service for Evelyn Perry of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Bill Dillon officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 2016, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Evelyn passed away February 4, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born March 15, 1930, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, the daughter of Dennis and Louisa Walker Walsh. She married Audie on August 3, 1951, in Orlando, Florida and worked as a Drug Store Clerk for Moses Pharmacy. Evelyn lived in Gassville since 1984, moving from Orlando and was a member of the Cotter Church of Christ. She had a passion for cooking, everyone raved about her meals. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and birdwatching. She was known as a very generous person, she will be missed.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Audie Perry of Gassville, AR; daughter, Brenda Gralton of Sanford, FL; three grandchildren, Travis Gralton of Gassville, AR, Tracy Gralton of Clermont, FL and Michael Gralton of Clermont, FL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, J.D. Walsh.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR, with Travis Gralton, Mitchell DeNoe, Ethan Britt, Jerrad Britt, Jesse Buckley, and Milo Cook as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Gralton and Wade Britt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cotter Church of Christ.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
