Services for Lannie Edward Riggins, 69, who died at his home at 410 North Fifth Street, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the First Chirstian Church here. The Rev. James W. Rainwater, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Riggins had been ill for several months.

An engineer for the Southwestern-San Francisco Railroad, Mr. Riggins was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Railway Engineer's Union, and the First Christian Church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ruth Riggins; two sons, Chief Yoeman Chester Riggins of Hollywood, Calif., and John B. Gordon of Los Angeles, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Lillian Edwards of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Marie Lowery of Natchez, Miss., Mrs. Blondie Stinnett of Jonesboro, Mrs. Gladys Plunk and Mrs. Wynona Mills, both of Sweeney, Tex.; and one sister, Mrs. George Cole of Halls, Tenn.

Funeral services for Mrs. L. E. Riggins, 73, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Christian Church by the Rev. James W. Rainwater. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home in Charge.

Pallbearers will be Marion Ulmer, Bill Stinnett, Raymond Mills, Spencer Mills, Charles Leggett and Fred Boyett Jr.

Mrs. Ruth Riggins, 73, died at her home yesterday at 410 North Fifth Street here.

A member of the First Christian Church, she had made her home here for 25 years.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending arrival of relatives but will be held in the First Christian Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge.

She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Marie Lowery, Natchez, Miss., Mrs. Mary Lillian Edwards, Southgate, Calif., Mrs. Jossie Stinnett, Jonesboro, Mrs. Gladys Plunk, Sweeny, Tex., Mrs. Wynona Mills, Memphis; two sons, Chief Petty Officer Chester Riggins, Los Angeles and John Gordon, Southgate, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Fleeta Wright, Joplin; two brothers, Fred Riddle, Chicago and Steve Riddle, Chicago; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Cause of death was a stoke suffered on Christmas Day.
