Mother Anderson was born to James and Connie Elliott on May 14, 1932, and the stepdaughter of Sis. Lillie M. Elliott. She departed this life on March 4, 2019 at the age of 86. She was united in marriage to D’Annunzio B. Anderson on September 13, 1948. A union which lasted 53 years. To this union three children were born. One of which preceded her in death (Lonnie R. Anderson).

She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. United with New Jerusalem Baptist church and later Calvary Baptist Church where she was a faithful and active member until her health failed her. She obtained her beautician license and was gainfully employed most of her life and worked for a few businesses, one of which included Lockheed-Martin

She had thirteen sisters and brothers. Nine of which preceded her in death. Mittie R. Robinson (Anthony)., James Booker T. Elliott of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Sheila Green (Ralph) of Dallas, Texas.

She leaves to mourn her daughters and daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Anderson-Charles-Pine Bluff, AR, Javonnia Anderson-Copeland-Lansing, MI and Bobbie King Anderson-Louann, AR. Grandchildren Candace Michelle Tomlinson (LaShonn)-Chicago, Ill, Byron L. Anderson (Yvette ) Little Elm, Texas, Wendy Nicole Anderson-Mableton, Ga, Michael Faruki Copeland- Dallas TX, Mikeala Javon Copeland and Michael D ‘Annunzio Copeland-Lansing, MI. Great grandchildren LaShonn Eugene Tomlinson Jr.-Chicago Il, Jeremiah and Noah Wright-Mableton, GA. She leaves to cherish her memories a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was blessed to have lived for 86 years, she loved God, loved wearing high heel shoes, had a temper but held no malice, an on many occasions an untamed tongue, she was the spark that kept her family moving forward. She was a hardworking mother who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and truly valued an education, if you needed help, she was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 09, 2019 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Louann, AR. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
