ROGERS — Harold C. Haynes, 90, of Rogers, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Bentonville. Mr. Haynes was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Summit, Miss., the son of Halsey and Sarah Griffin Haynes. He was a salesman for Xerox and was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survived by his wife, Christine Brooks Haynes of Rogers — they celebrated 64 years of marriage together; son, Collins Haynes of Rogers; daughter, Cynthia Anderson of Franktown, Colo.; grandchildren, Hunter Haynes, Lydall Haynes Chrystall, Courtney, Chelsea and Cooper Anderson.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Benton County Funeral Home with interment to follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 Monday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St. Rogers, AR. Online condolence to www.bentoncounty@sbcglobal.net.

ROGERS — Roberta Christine (Chris) Haynes, age 95, of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born March 30, 1923, in Greeneville, Tenn., to Robert Roscoe and Sue Ada Cutshall Brooks.

Chris graduated from Tusculum College in Tusculurn, Tenn., in 1944 and was a teacher until taking a position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee during the Manhattan Project. Here, she met her future husband of 65 years, Harold Collins Haynes. They where married in 1945 and raised their family in Kenner, La.

Christine enjoyed cooking, gardening, and fishing, as well as watching all sports. Harold and Chris moved to Covington, La., after Harold's retirement, then to Rogers, Ark.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Chris is survived by her son, H. Collins Haynes, Jr. of Pineville, Mo., and daughter, Cynthia Lea Haynes Anderson of Franktown, Colorado. Chris is also survived by 5 grandchildren Hunter Haynes, Lyndall Haynes, Courtney Anderson, Chelsea Anderson Sexton, and Cooper Anderson, as well as three great-grandchildren, Neil, Harlowe and Henley.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Holmes officiating.
