James Rufus Jackson, 44, was killed instantly when the welding torch he was using short circuited. The accident occurred Aug 9, 1952 in his garage when he was working on a car in Lepanto, AR.
He leaves his wife, two sons; Ernest and _____, two daughters Mrs Martha Ayers of Atlanta, GA and Miss Rosie Lee Jackson of the home, his mother, Mrs Mollie Jackson of Etowah, AR, and three brothers: George, Johnnie and Earle.
He was buried at Garden Point Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. LN

Mrs Ilean Reed Jackson, 83, of Blytheville, AR, died Saturday Sept 16, 1995 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, AR. Born in Osceola, AR, she was a retired housekeeper and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Blytheville.
Survivors include two daughters: Martha Shaw of Halfmoon and Rose Kirk of Gosnell, AR, a son, Ernie Jackson of Blytheville, AR; a sister, Pauline McCallister of West Ridge, AR; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and four gg-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Blytheville, with Joe Thompson, Jack Woodard and Eddie Clemons officiating. Burial was to follow in Garden Point Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville
