Mrs. Edith Permemter, 74, widow of Ben Permenter, died Monday at Chickasawba Hospital. She was a retired landowner and was born in Vincennes, Ind. She had lived in Blytheville since 1925 and was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church of Steele and Jo Rebecka Lodge No. 57.
Mrs. Permenter leaves one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Phelps Gibbon of Shreveport;
Two sisters, Mrs. Walter Starcy [Storcy] of Steele and Mrs. Everett Petty of Osceola;
And one grandchild.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Cobb Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Joe Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
