Philippina Elisabetha Lanz Rapp was born on November 24, 1837, the daughter of Anna and Philipp. She married Peter Rapp on October 16, 1858, in Alsenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had three children during their marriage. She died on June 7, 1924, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 86.

Peter Rapp was born on March 29, 1830, in Alsenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the son of Anna and Philipp. He married Philippina Elisabetha Lanz Rapp on October 16, 1858, in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He died on September 12, 1904, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 74.
