Shirley Kay Wyers, 81, of Mulberry, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 in Fort Smith. She was retired from Mulberry Lumber Company. She was born August 17, 1937 in Franklin County, Arkansas to Carl and Velmer Chronister Crandell. (Brother Earl Crandall says Shirley was born in Clayton, Oklahoma)
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Wyers.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Wyers of Ozark and Stacey Wyers of Mulberry; three sisters, Eulabell Langley and Roxie Atwell of Mulberry and Mary Sue Bascue of Ozark; three brothers, Ed Crandell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Earl Crandell of Mulberry, and Ray Crandell of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Hight Cemetery in Ozark with Brother Carl Wilson Brewer officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
