Carl Cleveland Head, 86, 707 W. Meadow Ave., Springdale, died March 15 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 11, 1892, at Sonora, he was the son of Harvey Mills and Nora Bell Kennan Head and a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a retired businessman, stockman and salesman. He served on Rodeo of the Ozarks board of directors for 20 years and was a charter member of the Springdale Kiwanis Club. He was a retired volunteer member of the Springdale Fire Department and a 50-year member of Modern Woodmen of America.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lee Ila Ann Dodson Head of the home; twin daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Drucella Ann) Morris and Mrs. Charles (Marcella Lee) Sharum of Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Parker and Mrs. Murl Letsch of Springdale; one grandson, Gary L. Morris of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one great-granddaughter, Alicia Morris of Las Vegas.
Services were held at 2 p.m. today in Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Maurice Webb and the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial was in Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
Pallbearers were Bob Collins, Bill Ames, John Lisle, Bob Squires, Tom Bain and Bill Thompson.

Leila Ann Head, 90, of Springdale died Feb. 5, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1904, at Chicago, Ill., to Warren Jay and Anna Vanderbos Dodson. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was one of the founders of the Springdale Volunteer Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. She was cooperator of Head Brother's Hardware Store and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springdale where she was active in the Friendship Sunday school class and the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Cleveland Head, on March 15, 1978; her adopted mother, Laura Ann James Beeler.
Survivors include two daughters, Drucilla Ann Morris and Marcella Lee Sharum, both or Springdale; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Morris of Overland Park, Kan.; one great-granddaughter, Alicia Dawn Morris of Overland Park.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. David Orr and the Rev. Von D. Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearer's will be Don Gibson, Bill Ames, Gene Parker, John Russell, Bill Thompson and David Hinds.
