When Charley Clemmon Synco was born on September 13, 1904, in Arkansas, his father, Joseph, was 29 and his mother, Sallie, was 25. He married Viola Cecile Askew on June 27, 1926, in Arkansas, Arkansas. They had five children in 16 years. He died on May 16, 1980, in Lake Village, Arkansas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
