SPRINGDALE — Velma Furlong, 64, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Feb. 14, 2018, at her home. She was born on July 1, 1953, in Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Dennis and Velma Mae Black Cornwell.
She was preceded in death by her father Denis Cornwell, brother Dennis Ragains, her mother Velma Cornwell and brother Bobby Ragains.
She was survived by her husband, Richard Furlong; children David Jones, Joyce Jones, Ray Furlong, Richard Moore, Serina Smith, Robert Turett and Roxxanne Turett; her siblings, Pat and Frank Ragains, Sheryl Stanphill, Sherrie Pond, Sharon Rogness, Dennis Cornwell Jr. and Denise Wade; five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at Benton County Funeral Home and the graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the McDaniel Cemetery in Lowell. Arrangements made by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N 4th St., Rogers, Ark. Online condolences can be made at www.Bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
