Marlon Franklin Gatling, 84 of Camden, AR was born September 08, 1926 in Holly Springs, AR to the late Byron Franklin and Selma Walsh Gatling and passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at Ouachita County Medical Center. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Men of the Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Byron “Mack” McKelvy Gatling. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Gatling of Camden, AR; three nephews; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday February 20, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Erin Kay will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or B. J.’s Dream Team.
