Patsy Ann "Barrett" Evens of Lynn, Arkansas
August 1, 1951 - February 9, 2020
Lynn- Patsy Ann Barrett Evens, 68, of Lynn passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Cave City Nursing Home. She was born August 1, 1951 to Richard and Mary Patricia Allen Barrett in Rockford, Illinois. Patsy was a nurse at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was a member of Lynn Church of Christ and loved her sisters in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her maternal grandparents, Emanuel and Dorothy Allen.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Landers (Philip) of Cave City, Randy Evans (Michelle), Nick Evans (Renee) both of Lynn; brother, Richard “Monnie” Barrett (Beth) of Rockford, Illinois, half-brother, Richard Barrett, Jr.; grandchildren, Tamara Harris (Cody), Benjamin Landers, Colman Evans (Jessica), Madison Holland (Patrick), Makayla Evans, and Peyton Evans; great-grandchildren, Zane Harris, Owen Harris, Graham Harris, and Cole Evans; soon to be great granddaughter, Whitley; step-grandchildren, Makayla Rainey (Chris) and Haydan Callahan; niece, Katie Barrett; and several other family members.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Lynn Church of Christ. The Funeral will follow immediately at 2 p.m. with Kenny Townsley and Philip Landers officiating. Interment will follow in Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Benjamin Landers, Colman Evans, Cody Harris, Patrick Holland, Mitchell Evans, Shane Evans, and Trea Evans.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Evans, Philip Landers, Nick Evans, Zane Harris, Owen Harris, Graham Harris, Cole Evans, and Monnie Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in Patsy’s memory.
