Mrs. Amy Reid Dalton, 50, wife of Dr. P. J. Dalton, died Sunday night in a local hospital. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, and was active in Girl Scout work in this area. Mrs. Dalton was born in Alto, Texas and attended Texas Women's University and Henderson State Teachers College. She moved to Camden with her family in 1942. Beside her husband other survivors include three daughters, Sally, Martha and Patty; one son John, all of the home; one sister, Mrs. Giles Grady of Corpus Christi, Texas; three aunts, Mrs. Helen McLeod and Mrs. J. C. Blacknall both of Arkadelphia, and Mrs. Amy Knott of Corpus Christi. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. The body will remain at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Tuesday. (Camden News - December 13, 1965)
