When geraldine Rhodes was born in 1914 in Texas, her father, Benjamin, was 45, and her mother, otie, was 31. She married Oval Pirkey Baird on June 4, 1941, in District of Columbia. They had three children during their marriage. She died on August 9, 2000, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 86.
