Addilene Griffin Henderson was received Home by her Creator and Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. She was born in Plainview, Arkansas on February 6, 1920 to Clara Fife Griffin and Lilbert Allen Griffin.

Addilene was united in marriage to Ralph Franklin Henderson on September 15, 1941 and raised their two children Lyndal Henderson and Joan Pearson Osborne in Mt. Pisgah, Arkansas for several years before moving to Judsonia, Arkansas. In 1972, they found their homestead in Judsonia along the banks of the Little Red River and enjoyed 25 wonderful years with their children, grandchildren, and extended family. Many hours were spent daily in camping, and gathering with family every weekend.

Addilene worked in Searcy, Arkansas for Remington Rand and later retired after 35 years of service at Sperry Vickers. She and Ralph spent their retirement years gardening, fishing, boating, camping and enjoying every moment spent with family and friends. Addilene later resided in Russellville, Arkansas for eight years. She also loved cooking, crafts, jewelry-making, bingo, watching her great-grandchildren play sports and loved making friends. She lived a wonderful life, was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by three sister; Pansy Carter of Mt. Pisgah, Inez Bittle of Mt. Pisgah and Jhondia Garrett of Carrollton, Georgia; one son, Lyndal Henderson and wife Gerrie of Russellville, Arkansas; one daughter, Joan Pearson Osborne and husband Dean of Maumelle, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Annette Henderson of Russellville, Gary Henderson of Russellville, Glenn Pearson and wife Kimberly of Maumelle, Traci Pearson Brunner and husband Ron of North Little Rock, and Sheri Henderson Fondren and husband Ron of Dover; seven great-grandchildren, Lindsey Brunner, Clay Pearson, Emily Holloway, Devin Henderson, Grant Pearson, Madison Brunner, and McKenzie Brunner.

Addilene was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ralph Franklin Henderson; two brothers and a sister, Rob Griffin of Chelan Falls, Washington, Waymon "Brud" Griffin of Denver, Colorado, and Mildred Flynn of Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home will interment following at White County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
