Sarah Sterling Phinney
August 15, 1806 - December 7, 1888
Wife of Christopher Phinney from Fairfield Co., SC; daughter in law of Patrick Phinney.
Buried near her daughter Margaret Phinney Boyd. Also, mother of John William Phinney (died 1912 in Little Rock - Confederate Soldiers Home), and grandmother of James Thomas Phinney.
Her father was John Wagner Sterling and her mother was Sarah Robinson Sterling, both of whom were born in Ireland, or Scotland. Her brothers and sisters included Jane Sterling Blain, Samuel, Margaret, John W.Jr., and Thomas M. Sterling.
