Theodore R. Sessions, 67, of 808 Marsh Ave., died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services are to be held at the Westside Baptist Church at 2 p.m. today, with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rumph's Mortuary. Mr. Sessions was born in Winchester, Ark., October 23, 1906, the son of John and Mary Lee Sessions. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of local 706, the American Legion, and Post 10. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mamie Gail Robinson Sessions; three sons, Haskell Lewis and David Sessions Dickens both of El Dorado and James Lewis Luling, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Bill Early, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Andy Starr of Kokomo, Ind.; three brothers, John Sessions of Jacksonville, Ark., Guy Walker, of Dallas, Tex., and Preston Walker of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Murphy, of Norphlet and Mrs. Henry Rice of Los Angeles, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Bob Sweeney, Larry Sweeney, Randy Lewis, Ray Rossman, Huey Dickson and Henry Jones. (El Dorado News Times - November 5, 1974)
