CHRISTINE COFFEY-SANDERS
A candle in our life has gone out. Our beloved mother, sister, aunt and wife has joined the Exodus to death, but has not put the light out, it only dimmed the lamp because dawn has come.
She went ahead to lighten the way, to lead us through darkness to a much brighter day.

Christine was born in Little River County, Arkansas in the Arden community on December 18, 1931 to the parentage of Lee Carl Coffey and Hortence Hooks-Coffey, who preced her in death.

She was a Christian and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and attended Little River County Training School. Some of her hobbies were playing basketball, quilting and sharing with others. She worked at Lone Star Steel, Holiday Inn, Mt. Aire Poultry Company and was head of housekeeping at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home for 10 years.

She leaves to mourn her memory:
Her husband, Willie Ed Sanders, Sr.
Her children, Willie Ed Sanders, Jr. (Brenda) of Ogden, Arkansas, Mary D. Ellis (David) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jimmy E. Sanders of Ashdown, Arkansas, Danny E. Sanders (Betty) and Kevin D. Sanders (Jackie) of Texarkana, Arkansas.
Her sisters, Mary Jo James, Jo Helen Nelson, Juanita Baker all of Dallas, Texas, and Maudie Burton of Texarkana, Arkansas.
One brother, David Coffey of Dallas, Texas
Seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces, other relatives and friends.
