It is with extreme sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Fletcher Allen, which occured at Altheimer Jefferson county, on last Friday after a very short illness of Swamp fever. Mr. Allen was teaching school at Altheimer. He was the son of the late Albert Allen, and was born and reared in Drew county. He was married, last April to Miss Lelia Bulloch, of Collins, who survives him. He also, leaves one
brother, in Texas, Prof. Thomas Allen, and one brother, Prof. John Allen, of Pine Bluff, and two sisters, Mrs. Jefferson Lamb, of Halley, Chicot county and Mrs. Bollivar Thomasson, who lives near Allis this county, besides other relatives. Mr. Allen was about 28 years of age, and was an upright honorable gentlemen.' Our heartfelt sympathies
are extended the young wife and the relatives of the deceased in their great and untimely loss.. The remains were brought back to this county, and interred in the Cemetery near Collins.
James F Allen married Miss Lelia Bulloch on April 11, 1912 in Jefferson County, Arkansas.
