Goldie Mae Vail, age 79, of Lake Village, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. She was born March 31, 1933 in Jones, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Will Standridge and Martha Ann Hursh and was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Freewill
Baptist Church in Lake Village. She is survived by her husband, Marion Leon (M.L.) Vail of Lake Village, 3 sons, Marion Leon Vail III and wife Lorain of Arkadelphia, Earl Dean Vail and wife Karen of Norphlet, Arkansas, and Andrew Lee Vail and wife Katherine of Lake Village; 3 daughters, Frances Marie Vail Berry and husband Jim of Eudora, Eva Irene Vail Peacock and husband Roger of Lake Village, and Lisa Ann Vail Lowery and husband Jerry of Bryson City, North Carolina; a sister, Silvia Cagle of Springdale; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-greatgranddaughter.
Visitation will be 5-7PM Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Bishop Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Marion Leon III officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Innocents Cemetery, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. www.bishopfuneralhomeinc.com
