Mary Janeth Armstrong Bost, 72, of Eudora, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born on October 8, 1943 in Portageville, Missouri to the late Hardy and Dorothy Violet Ferguson Thatcher. Janeth loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved to decorate and draw.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Armstrong; brothers, Windell Thatcher, Norman Thatcher, and Morris Thatcher; sisters, Cordelia Thatcher Steadman and Shelby Thatcher. Survivors include her husband, Frank Bost of Eudora, AR; sons, Kenneth Wayne (Melissa) Armstrong of Eudora, AR, Gary (Myra) Bost of Battle Creek, MI; daughters, Lori Violet Armstrong of Eudora, AR, Rhonda Lynn (Bo) Barbee of Montrose, AR Janeffer Ann (Tracy) Graham of Portland, AR, and Kristin (Dirk) Gann of Olive Branch, MS; sister-in-laws, Carolyn Thatcher of Hubbard, TX and Bobbie Jean Armstrong Martar of Eudora, AR; 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 2-4 pm Sunday May 1, 2016 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Monday, May 2, 2016 at Jennie Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR with Rev. Brian Wetzler officiating. Burial will be held at Jennie Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Village, AR.
