HINDSVILLE — Della Rae Murphy, 68, of Hindsville died Aug. 12, 2005, at Hindsville. She was born Feb. 1, 1937, in Mossville to Millard and Linda Bayless Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, fishing and cattle.
Survivors include her husband, Truman Murphy of the home, to whom she was married Oct. 23, 1955; one son, Tim Murphy of Springdale; one daughter, Ramona Ramsey and husband Mike of Hindsville; one son, Jeff Murphy and wife Shirley of Tontitown; one daughter, Jennifer Taylor and husband John of Springdale; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Ida Edwards of Springdale.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ramsey, John Taylor, Jason Ramsey, Norman Burnett and Chad Murphy.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave, Springdale, 72764.
Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
