PEA RIDGE — Thomas A. Bennett, 82, of Pea Ridge, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born April 23, 1928, at Lexington, Miss., to Frank Bennett and Mary LaBlanche Bennett.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Marines as an airplane mechanic. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Rogers, the Gideons, the Lions Club and was a Mason.
Survivors are his wife, Edith Bennett, of the home; two daughters, Karon Smith and husband Tim of Pauls Valley, Okla., and Sandra Bennett of Fayetteville; one sister, Mildred Kelly of Hilton Head, S.C.; and five grandchildren.
Service is set for Saturday, Aug. 28, 10 a.m., at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Brother Loy Counts officiating. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is set from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale AR 72762.

PEA RIDGE — Edith Marie Bennett, 90, of Pea Ridge died March 16, 2019, in Bentonville.
She was born September 7, 1928, in Durant, Mississippi, to Walter Issac Carnathan and Zula Swinney Carnathan. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Thomas A. Bennett in 2010; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are two daughters, Karon Smith and husband Tim of Justin, Texas, Sandra Bennett of Bentonville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 20 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the funeral home.
