Rogers, April 5-(Special)- George Washington Dutton, 85, Native of Fayetteville, died Wednesday at his home in Rogers after a long illness. He was born October 6, 1805, in Fayetteville, and lived there until he came to Rogers in 1923. He was a farmer, and was a member of the Rogers First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Chasey Dutton; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude McNabb of Plymoth Falls, Ore., Mrs. Bertha Goldberg of Lyons, Kan., and Mrs. Eula Johnson of Rogers; four sons, Floyd of Nowata, Okla., Robert of Salina, Kan., George Jr., of Sterling, Kan., and Herman of Chester, Neb.; five half-brothers, L.D. Gibson of Fayetteville, Jack and Mack Gibson of Spring Valley, Arthur Gibson of Muskogee, Okla., and Frank Gibson of Ames, Okla.; a half-sister, Mrs. Sarah Ellen Manes, Spring Valley; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m., in Burns Chapel here by the Rev. K. R. Jones, pastor of the Pentacostal Holiness Church, assisted by the Rev. Rel Cray, paster of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oakley Chapel west of Rogers.
