Nellie Elizabeth Sewell, 95, of Searcy, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was born Friday, August 24, 1917 in Center Hill, Arkansas to the late Harvey Tilton Mortis Wiggs and Mattie Dean Mitchell Wiggs. Mrs. Sewell was a nurse's aide and a longtime member of West Side Church of Christ in Searcy. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, and cooking; but most of all she loved taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Ivy Sewell; sons, James Sewell and Tommy Sewell; brother, Ederal "Son" Wiggs; two grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Sewell and Jo Beth Stevens; and a great-grandson, Cody Brice Sewell. She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Wayne Sewell and his wife Margie of Texarkana; a daughter, Wilma J. Stevens and her husband Charles of North Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Ray Dickson of Searcy.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2013, 6-8 p.m., at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home (501) 268-3546. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the White County Memorial Gardens.
