----------------------

A member of the Greatest Generation and a man of honor died May 21, 2010. Born on November 27, 1921, Palmer Webb always put family first growing up; then as a father; and always as a loving devoted husband of almost 64 years. As an owner of W & W ford in Searcy, one of the area's most successful dealerships, he built a reputation of honor by "letting his word be his word." As a life long member of the Presbyterian Church and an active leader of his community, he lived the Christ like life of humble service to those in need. He accepted people as they were and felt judgment belongs to God. He served his country as a WWII sergeant in the Pacific Theater. All will remember his love of the road in his RV travels. Palmer was a man of quiet dignity and honor. He will be missed by all. Mr. Webb is survived by his wife; Joline Webb; two sons; Keith and Duke Webb of Searcy; a sister, Hallie Jane Sanford; and a granddaughter; Jeri Hayley Webb. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Powell Funeral Home Chapel of Searcy. Visitation will be 5 to 7: p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in White County Memorial Gardens. www.powellfuneralhome.net
