Dennis Mitchell Howard, 67, of Ozark, Arkansas died Monday, September 2, 2019 in Fort Smith. He was self-employed in construction and attended Full Gospel Temple Church. He was born September 27, 1951 in Carthage, Texas to Farris Edward and Rita Cantu Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis is survived by two brothers, Farris Howard, Jr. and wife Brenda and Richard Howard both of Ozark; four sisters, Beverly Singletary and husband Roy of Fort Smith, Jo Ann Hayes of Ozark, Barbara Wilson and husband Stuart of Ozark, and Ginger Armstrong of Ozark.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Simpson officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers are Tony Howard, Peck Hayes, Alvin Bowman, Zac Price, Steve Outlaw, and Mark Weathers. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Helmert and Bettis Alston.
