ROGERS — Madeline Ann Taylor, 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 30, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Texas, on Jan. 12, 1953, to the late Alvin Brown Jr. and Deloryse (Dody) M. (Farren) Brown.

Madeline volunteered at Central Park Elementary School in Bentonville where her grandchildren attend. She was a member of Key Point Church in Bentonville. She loved traveling, cooking, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her family. She was a compassionate, loyal friend who frequently sent cards and letters. Her encouraging words and loving nature were her trademarks. Madeline was the best wife, mother, and nana anyone could ever hope for.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Taylor of Rogers; son, Landon Taylor and his wife Rebecca of Bentonville; daughter, Lisa Petersen of Greeley, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ally, and Carson Taylor.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, from 12-1 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at Pinnacle Hills Memorial Park.
